The theme of the event on 14th December 2023 was «From vision to action». Around 60 participants from air-traffic safety services, airlines, airports, suppliers and supervisory authorities were given an insight into current and planned activities.

“Preparing for the Future”: It is an undisputed fact that the global climate is changing. This will give rise to new challenges for the entire aviation industry. How can forecasts of weather events be further improved?
Even during the Covid-19 pandemic, MeteoSwiss created a platform to bring together different players in the field of aviation weather. At the virtual event, around 80 participants from air-traffic safety services, airlines, airports, suppliers and supervisory authorities were given an insight into current and planned activities.
