From 1 April 2025, MeteoSwiss will make its data available to the general public for free reuse as Open Government Data (OGD). The data can be downloaded as pre-processed files. In a later stage, customised queries will also be possible via API.
MeteoSwiss describes the data structures, formats, resolutions, update frequencies, volumes, etc. of the planned OGD products in a continuously updated documentation.
The initial publication of the individual OGD products can be staggered.
