Homogeneous data series since 1864

Long-time homogeneous series of monthly temperature averages and the total amount of precipitation are available from the climate stations of the Swiss national basic climatological network (Swiss NBCN). The stations cover all major climatic regions of Switzerland and provide information about the development of the measured quantities over the past 150 years. Homogeneous series of climate measurements reflect an unbiased picture of the climatic development and represent the basis for research on climate change.
