Pollen season

MeteoSwiss is compiling annual graphs of the average daily pollen count for the stations in the Swiss pollen monitoring network. The annual pollen review summarises the graphs of the whole year and supplements them with boxplots on the strength and start of the pollen season compared to the standard period. With the switch to automatic pollen measurement, only seven allergenic pollen types are measured at some measuring stations and displayed for the current year. Only the 30-year average pollen concentration is shown for the pollen types that are no longer measured. It should be noted that the data of the current year (automatic measurement method) are no longer fully comparable with the long-term average (manual measurement method), as the manually and automatically measured data differ.
