Better climate services for better decisions
Reliable climate information creates value only when it supports better decisions. ENANDES+ therefore strengthens the entire climate service value chain by:
- improving meteorological observations and data management;
- enhancing climate monitoring and forecasting;
- developing services together with users;
- strengthening dialogue between science, service providers and decision-makers;
- demonstrating the socioeconomic value of climate services for public policies and investments.
The result is climate information that is more reliable, more relevant, and more useful for agriculture, water management, disaster risk reduction, and climate adaptation.
Building a foundation for regional cooperation
ENANDES+ demonstrates that regional cooperation can make the development of climate services more efficient and more effective. By bringing together national institutions, regional centers and international expertise, the project creates opportunities to share knowledge, jointly develop solutions, and reduce duplication of effort.
The experience gained through ENANDES+ provides a strong foundation for future regional collaboration and shows how countries can work together to strengthen climate services for the benefit of the entire region.
