The Swiss GCOS Office organises the National GCOS Round Table once every year to bring together all Swiss Climate Observation partners (federal offices, research institutions and universities). The round table serves as a forum for the exchange of information as well as the discussion of the long-term planning to ensure continuous and representative observations, e.g. by identifying the risk of discontinuity ahead of time and engaging in remedial action.
